Last Tuesday I filled my F250 pickup truck with diesel. Well actually, I didn’t fill it up. The gas pump shut off automatically when it reached $100.00. That was 20 gallons of fuel at $4.99/gallon. I was lucky. The next day, diesel was up to $5.49 at the same station in Marshall, VA.

My tank holds 36 gallons, so the 20 gallons filled it a little over halfway. I might have needed a second mortgage on our home to completely fill the truck.

That $4.99/gallon was about $1.40 higher than just a few weeks ago. The two stations right by Interstate 66 have it at $5.59/gallon, a dime higher than the price in the middle of town.

Good Job Mr Trump…Not…But Hey, Enjoy a Big Mac

Now let’s talk about more than just Max and his pickup truck. What about all the semis that haul our food to the grocery stores? Is anyone naive enough to think food prices aren’t going up more?

Also, guess what fuel most freight trains use in America? Ding! Ding! Ding! We have a winner! That’s right, diesel fuel.

How much higher will diesel go? I dunno, but it’s gonna go up, before it comes down. Just one more benefit of our venture in Iran.

The Trump administration has lifted sanctions on both Iranian and Russian oil exports to address the surging energy prices caused by the war. Read that sentence again – we are at war with Iran, but have lifted oil sanctions on them. Prices have, so far, continued to rise. It all makes perfect sense to me.

I sure am glad the president and his brain trust thought all this thru. I guess the good news for Mr Trump is not as many people are talking about the Epstein files right now.

PS – Pay no attention to the additional 10,000 ground troops we are considering sending to the Middle East.

He was killed in Afghanistan on February 9th, 2010, one month shy of his 24th birthday. The administration’s cavalier attitude about the current war with Iran is raising old ghosts from […] Continue here: https://maxnhall.com/2026/03/15/adam/
  • The lives of courageous American heroes may be lost and we may have casualties. That often happens in war”, said our president about our latest attack on Iran. That often happens in War? THAT OFTEN HAPPENS IN WAR!?!?  Could he be more tone deaf? […] Continue here: https://maxnhall.com/2026/02/28/that-often-happens-in-war/
